Take the Piccadilly line (Tube) from Heathrow to Kings Cross. Kings Cross is technically across the street from St. Pancras but connected. The trip takes about an hour.

I guess easiest would be Taxi or Hired Car but it would also be way more expensive and with traffic probably not save much time.

Others will chime in about the Heathrow Express but that is far from being the easiest.

Cheapest and easiest way is the tube. Buy your Oyster card at the manned station at Heathrow. There’s one in each terminal. They’re super helpful and will help you figure out how much to put on your Oyster.

Couldn't help but chuckle on this :-)

on a different but kinda related note.....I would also chuckle every time I heard the "This is the Piccadilly line service to....Cockfosters"... ;-)

People make errors. I wouldn't have the heart or the gall to comment on questions as to where someone can empty their bladder, nor the brains to think I know better. We need to forgive misspellings. I say liver or let live. I will shout that with every breath in my lungs. Now, if you'll excuse me I'm going to have a steak and kidney pie.

I know, this was an offal post.

The “Tube” (metro, subway, El train) is the easiest way to get anywhere in London. Buy your Oyster Card at Heathrow, machines easy to use- load the card with whatever dollar amount you choose, and your off. There are usually attendants to help you at the entry turnstiles as well.

An essential planning tool. Google Maps can also be helpful but the government site includes advice about fares etc.
Cockfosters does not deserve a schoolchild's smirk. The name dates back to the 1500s and is possibly a mash-up of "cock forester", a rural description. Ain't/isn't Wikipedia grand?
