I'm flying into Heathrow on Sunday September 22nd at 8:50am. I'm staying at the hub by Premier Inn London Covent Garden. I plan on taking the Piccadilly Line from Heathrow to the Piccadilly Circus station and then walking to the hotel.
Does this seem like a good plan?
I saw on another thread that the Piccadilly Line was closed last weekend (September 14 & 15). Is it closed this upcoming weekend (September 21 & 22)?
The Pic is open to Heathrow this weekend.
It is the Acton Town to Uxbridge branch of the Pic which is closed this weekend- which doesn't affect Heathrow passengers.
This weekend it is the Elizabeth Line which only has a half hourly service from Terminal 4 (two less per hour than usual), so only 4 per hour from Heathrow T2/3.
Heathrow Express is also only twice an hour, not 4 times an hour.I
So that sounds good.
The Piccadilly line is a good idea. But your destination station could be better.
Stay on the Piccadilly Line one more stop to Leicester Square. It's closer to your hotel.
