Hi everyone,
I have searched about this and haven't found anything recent. I am planning on flying into London Heathrow at 11:25 and was hoping to depart on my next flight out of Gatwick at 15:55. Is this unrealistic? Also, what is the best way to travel between the two airports?

Lisa: Cutting it close there. You have to go through passport control and then pick up your bags (if you check them), then take the bus (see http://www.heathrowairport.com/transport-and-directions/travel-between-airports ). I'd try for a later flight out of Gatwick just to be on the safe side.

The MCT on a single ticket between LHR / LGW is 3.5 hours, but that was set decades ago.
Most airlines won't sell connections that are less than at least 4 hours today.
On that basis you would probably be OK but with very little margin to the situation on a particular day.
