Heathrow to/from Ealing Broadway on the Elizabeth Line

Using a contactless Visa card or Oyster, what is the cost going to Ealing Broadway during peak and off-peak times from Heathrow and the cost returning to Heathrow from Ealing Broadway during peak and off-peak times? Thank you.

So there IS a premium to pay if you are going to zone 3 which is not central London or starting at zone 3 and going to Heathrow (zone 6), is that correct?

Yes on the Elizabeth Line, any fare from Heathrow stations, even a one stop to Hayes and Harlington has the premium. But from any other station except Heathrow Elizabeth line is standard zonal fares.
So Hayes and Harlington to Ealing Broadway would be a standard zonal fare.
The tube is the only way to avoid the premium in the outer zones, although even that has a premium into central London.
The way to avoid the premium, which is not for a visitor with luggage, is to catch a bus from Heathrow to Hayes and Harlington, then the train.
But as a visitor just soak up the premium.

Thank you for the explanation. I will pay the premium; it is much easier to take one train than having to change to the District line.

What about going to Heathrow from Ealing Broadway? Is there a premium to pay?

We loved the efficiency, new cars and some upgrades at stations for the Elizabeth Line when we used it when staying in Ealing this past summer. We had dinner with some Ealing friends who have really liked this improved route into central London and they affectionately call her Lizzy :)

Yes, same premium into Heathrow as out of it.
The Mayor of London has to get the billions of pounds spent on the line back somehow.
And meet the government conditions on the ball outs given to stop TFL going bankrupt during Covid.
