Hello, we will be flying into Heathrow from Newark Airport on United (and back). It appears that we will be arriving at Heathrow's Terminal 2 through one of the B gates. On the map it looks like the B gates of Terminal 2 are in a separate building from the main Terminal 2. Is that correct? How far is it to get from the main terminal of Terminal 2 to the B gates building of Terminal 2? How do you get from one building to the other? If we need to walk, I am trying to determine if it is a long walk. Thank you.

It's roughly half a mile. Escalators at both ends and a series of moving walkways. Ten to twenty minutes depending on walking speed, if you stand still on the walkways etc.

You go under the runways. And the previous reply is correct, there are numerous moving sidewalks and takes 10 to 20 minutes. There are escalators and elevators at both ends.
