We are planning to arrive at Heathrow 3 hours early for our flight to Vienna with British Airways. Is there any reason why this would not be enough time?
Thanks!
2 hours is plenty and that is what BA themselves recommend for short haul. 3 hours is fine if you have lounge access and like alcohol but otherwise there is no need to arrive that early.
I flew from Heathrow to Vienna two weeks ago. I arived two hours before the flight. I still had enough time for a 45 minute lounge visit.
I didn't have any bags to check and went straight to security after arriving at the terminal.
You will be departing from Terminal 3 and they seem to have their act together at security.
I fly from Heathrow regularly and always arrive two hours in advance, regardless of destination, and that is always plenty of time. Destination shouldn't make a difference in how early you have to arrive as everyone goes thru the same security queue etc and there are no passport exit checks.
Thanks everyone. We arrived in plenty of time and are at the airport now!
