Heathrow hotels - Food delivery

Hi all,

So I’m trying to formulate a back up plan in case i test positive and need to self isolate. I was thinking of finding a room near Heathrow probably along the bath road corridor. I was wondering if there are a reasonable number of food delivery choices nearby? I’ve seen the deliveroo scooters and possibly Uber eats in central London. But perhaps their service areas only cover central London and not Heathrow.

So my questions are

  • What are the popular food delivery services/apps for London?
  • Do the Heathrow hotels have good delivery options?
  • Are there other London areas that would have hotels and good delivery options? Mainly outside zone 1 to keep costs down?

Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eats are the three big food delivery services in Greater London. Download the apps and plug in a postal code to see what is available in that area.

You might want to look into the Staybridge Suites near Heathrow. It's new. Every room has a full kitchen. Many of the delivery services also deliver groceries.

Even if this hotel is not to your liking, it would be good to at least have a refrigerator to keep any leftover food.
