Heathrow Hotel Recommendations

I stayed at the Yotel in Terminal 4 and I found it nice if a too little post-modern design for my tastes. The room was clean and comfortable and check in/out was easy. I easily hopped on the free bus between treminals that was going in the direction I needed to get to the trains. I believe they charge by the hour or by night. The online reservation system was easy to use.

There are a number of chain hotels along the Bath Road (A4). None are spectacular but it would be a rare day that you couldn't bag one at a reasonable price either directly or through one of the consolidators, and they are with a small number of exceptions within the free bus zone.

How are you arriving from Liverpool - by train I guess since you mention the Express.

Premier Inn Heathrow Terminal 5 was great. It's a 5 minute free bus ride (public bus 423) from T5, then a quick hop (also free) over to T3. The public bus stops right at their front door. There is a nice restaurant, and a McDonald's next door for a quick breakfast. Note: there are two Premier Inns on Bath Rd. The other is in the opposite direction.

We stayed at the Hilton at Terminal 5. It was a very nice hotel with great restaurants, but it was quite expensive taking the bus from the airport to and from. I wouldn't stay there again. I prefer the Hilton that is at the airport - is it Terminal 3?

There is a Hilton at Terminal 4...and it has a walkway to the Terminal itself - supposedly there is a free bus that goes to Terminal 3...

I second the Premier Inn, used it several times.
