Heathrow Hotel Help

Good Morning!

I was wondering if anyone has any Heathrow hotel advice. I need to book a hotel and find myself stuck and not sure what to book. Here are my details...

We fly into Heathrow on April 29 landing around 10:45 PM on British Airways. I believe we land at Terminal 3. We are staying 2 nights and will meet friends somewhere in the city or at their house (in Weybridge) on April 30.

We will fly out Sunday, May 1 on Lufthansa from Terminal 2 at 7:25 am.

Any recommendations? I think because we land late and leave early, I would prefer to be closer to the airport than stay in a hotel closer to our friends.

What's the budget?

If you can afford it, flying at those most difficult times, the actual hotel in the terminal will be even easier than one on Bath Road or a taxi or bus away.

I hope you will be in Europe longer than one day.

If you are arriving transatlantic count on well after midnight before you are out the frosted doors.

2 hours pre flight if leaving within Europe, 3 beyond.

Opps - forgot about about the budget! Anywhere between $100-200.

And yes - we will be in Europe almost 3 weeks. We got such a great price on a flight into Heathrow that we couldn't pass it up. So we are flying on to Germany on May 1.
