To those who have recently departed Heathrow Terminal 3 flying Delta, were you able to check baggage the night before or did that self-drop process end?

I flew out of Terminal 3 on Delta in April of this year and there was no provision for checking baggage the night before.
However, they do have an auto check-in that is very easy to use. You just scan your ticket and it will print out a label that you attach to your suitcase. You then put it on an automated drive and it takes it away.
