Heathrow customs question re: Schedule 2 medication

I have a prescription that meets UK Schedule 2 drug, therefore requiring a doctors letter. The 4th requirement for the letter is to be signed by the prescribing physician. My physician drafted the letter but sent it back to me with e-signature. Has anyone else gone thru UK customs from the US with a schedule 2 medication requiring a doctors note and if so did you need a so-called "wet" signature?

It would be very unusual for anyone to even inquire about your medications. Usually you just walk out the hallway labeled “nothing to declare.”
If someone were to stop you, I think the documentation you have would probably be fine.

We went through in May. I had done all this prep work, e.g. pictures, labels, etc. No one asked anything about our medications.
