Baggage handlers at Heathrow terminals 2,3 & 4 are set to strike for three days starting December 16.
Airlines that are likely to be affected by the three-day strike are Air Canada, American Airlines, Lufthansa, Swiss Air, Air Portugal, Austrian Airlines, Qantas, Egypt Air, Aer Lingus and Finnair.
So, it appears it will not affect British Airways flights at Terminal 5, correct?
I was planning on flying carryon only for my trip next week, but this just confirms it as we will be returning through Heathrow on the 16th............
That's correct Lola. The strike is against a private company that operates from T2,3 & 4. Not T5.
