Hi everyone,
Any recommendations on the best airport hotel for terminal 5 at Heathrow ?
My family and I have a 10 hour overnight layover and wish to maximize our sleep before we carry on to our next flight and have a great start to our vacation.

The best is the Sofitel, attached to T5. But it’s not cheap.
Where is your next flight to? Is that when you go to the Netherlands?
There are outlying hotels for Heathrow for which you can take a cab or a local transit option called the Hoppa Bus.
We stayed at the Sofitel connected to T5 a week ago. Our room was £189 and worth every bit.
It was so nice just to walk there from Arrivals and then back to Departures the next morning for our flight—no worries about taking a taxi or bus. My husband used the fitness room after we checked in, and we enjoyed a nice dinner in the casual restaurant there (not the fancy French restaurant).
I would stay there again if we needed an airport hotel.
We also stay at the LHR Sofitel when traveling through LHR. The last time there I became very ill. The staff went out of their way to help take care of me, getting medical care, sending up trays of crackers and bottled water, rearranging all of our flights and on and on. And they heavily discounted our room rate for the extra days we needed to stay there. They are the best!
