I stay at the Premier Inn at Heathrow. There's actually a couple of them at different terminals.

Echo Nigel’s questions!

For Terminal 3, we like the Radisson RED, which is chic and modern, has comfy beds, and a bar. It’s not terribly pricey, either.

We just stayed at the Sofitel Hotel at Terminal 5. It is a very nice hotel and very convenient if you are using Terminal 5, but it was pricey.

For T2/3 there is also the Hilton Garden Inn which is connected by a parking garage. And a nearby Premier Inn on Bath Road

cga6517, you will get MUCH better answers if you tell us what terminal you are flying out of (I'm assuming you need it for the end of your stay). There are 5 terminals and some are very far apart, so it makes no sense to recommend a terminal that is very far from the terminal you are flying out of.

We just stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn (in terminal 2) and flew out of terminal 3 -- it was fantastic! There's a rooftop bar with a deck where you can watch the planes takeoff and land, and I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms quality was much higher than I expected for a Hilton Garden Inn. We got what we really wanted which was an easy morning getting to our flight -- it was about a 10 minute walk to check-in.

There are four terminals at Heathrow--2,3,4 & 5. Terminal 1 is no longer an active terminal but is used to process Terminal 2 baggage and for training.

If your flights are from Terminal 2 or 3, I suggest the Hilton Garden Inn at Terminal 2 and 3. I've stayed many times and have another reservation in three weeks.

For Terminal 5, I suggest the Sofitel which is attached to Terminal 5. I've also stayed a few times the last being in April.

I have no recommendation for Terminal 4. But others will.

I've used the Premuer Inn T4 several times, though not for several years. It used to have really good rates.

You are right, Frank - thanks for the correction.

And on another note, I'm not sure the OP is coming back to tell us what terminal they need. :-)
