Heathrow Airport

Hello everyone! I just received an email from British Airways stating that my arrival terminal had been changed from 3 to 5. I need to make a connecting flight with Aer Lingus at terminal 2. I have about 2 hours layover. Any advice what option at the airport to get there quickly. I’m not very agile, so quick and easy is the best for me. Thank you for any help.

Are you flying on one ticket or two?

No worries. Heathrow has a marked path for flight connections between terminals, and a dedicated bus that will transport you “airside” (no need to pass through the passport check). Frommthe plane, follow the purple “flight connections”:signs appropriate for Terminal 2.

This is assuming the flights are on a single ticket—- meaning true “connecting flights”. You will need to pass through security again at T2 so be ready, with your 3-1-1 bag ready and no water in water bottles.

Heathrow also offers escorted passage, by wheelchair that a porter pushes, or an electric motorized transporter, that beeps as it’s driven past the pedestrians in the passageways. If you have limited mobility and a tight connection, asking someone in uniform for assistance might get you on a faster conveyance.

Thank you everyone! Frank, I’m traveling on one ticket. I think! I made the reservations through the British Airways website. Everything is under me confirmation number.
