Has anyone used the 2for1 offers in London recently?

I have been planning on using the 2 for 1 national coach offers while we are there in September. In the time I have been viewing the sight, things have changed. Can you still use the vouchers if you purchase one day travel cards for the underground at the rail station (We were going to purchase them at Victoria station). We had printed all our vouchers, now the vouchers look different and the directions no longer say anything about one day travel cards for the underground. Also, can you purchase 7 day travelcards from them and do they work for the 2for1 offers. Thanks

As the site says:
The following ticket types are fine to use for 2FOR1 offers:

National Rail tickets - purchased from a rail station, including:
- Advance
- Anytime
- Off-Peak

Gatwick/Stansted Express
Travelcards - only when purchased from a train station.
Print @ Home/Mobile - showing the National Rail logo only
Season tickets with Photocards - including those with TfL Travelcard add-ons
Annual Gold Cards
Annual Oyster card WITH Gold Record card

The following tickets are NOT valid for 2FOR1 offers:

Oyster Cards
TfL Issued Travelcards
Freedom Passes
Heathrow Express Tickets
Stansted/Gatwick Express in-flight (or mobile) tickets where the National Rail logo is not present
BritRail Passes
EuroStar Tickets
'The London Pass'
Digital Tickets - where the National Rail logo is not present

You might be mixing the two companies up. I looked at the National Express (coach) site, and they have a promotion, and there is also the promotion by National Rail (trains), where you have to have the Travelcard issued on National Rail orange and white stock. You can buy one-day cards or the 7 day card, but the 7 day card is cheaper overall, with no peak/off peak restrictions. You do need a passport sized photo for the 7 day card.

Yes it is possible that you were looking at the vouchers for the National Express offer which works on a similar basis with coach tickets although it is not as extensive yet.

Miranda- You are right. I had pulled up the wrong web site. The one for the train is just like it was when I printed our 2 for 1 coupons. Thanks!!!
