Has anyone had experience with Homefromhome.com? I am looking for an apartment for me and my 24 year old daughter in October. Does anyone have any good recommendations for an affordable studio or one bedroom apartment in a good location? Thank you!

I haven't tried Homefromhome, but I highly recommend AirBnb.com. Both sellers and buyers go through a verification process so you should not need to worry about security issues. Their web site allows you to narrow things down to price range, type of accommodations, etc. And if you are going to use public transit, it is good to see where the nearest tube or commuter train station is located. I've rented a place for May in an area called Hither Green that is only a twenty minute train ride into central London. A very good price. Give them a look and see what's available the would suit you.
