Has anyone ever been to a taping of the Graham Norton show?

I live in NYC and we have loads of TV show tapings; for some reason I've never bothered to even sign up for SNL or Daily Show or anything.

I guess we have a way to go before they release the tickets for our time in London in November lol

It is very popular, if only to see that beard up close. Get on the mailing list, and when it comes up try applying. It will be like winning the lottery, so don't be disappointed if you don't get tickets.

I apply for various shows (never tried for Graham) and sometimes I get tickets, usually I lose.

Will you take the third member of your party? If she isn't used to his humour it can be a bit "earthy", and almost certainly even more for the non-filmed bits.

Have you settled on the Earls Court location now or is that still up in the air?

A friend of mine got tickets for the show and queued for ages outside in the cold and wet waiting to get into the show. The people in front of them got in, then they stopped the line and said they were full as they always give away more seats than there is capacity due to no shows. They were offered priority seats for the following week.

By all means try, but don't be too disappointed if you don't get in. It is taped in London Thursday nights, for broadcast on Friday.

Curious to read of Nigel's fascination with the beard, as I am currently sporting a very similar Nortonesque grey beard.

Kiwi friends of mine went to a taping a few years back and they related how 'free flowing' the booze was for GN's guests.
