I haven't previously heard of it, but when I saw your title I thought you were talking about New York.
SoHo in New York is because it is SOuth of HOuston.
Soho is a name used several times in England, both in Birmingham and London. It is a name, not an abbreviation.
Soho is the heart of the film making and recording studio area of London, has a lovely park (or I hope that Soho Square is restored after all the Elizabeth Line works finally finish), and has tons of restaurants especially on Wardour Street.
I think one of the positive reviews I had seen also said that they have to limit the number of people they allow in at a time, so it's important to go early. Maybe someone out there has seen it and will post. :)
