Happy 140th Birthday to Virginia Woolf

Virginia Woolf's life story is a great way to get to know the better neighborhoods of London and Sussex -- she was born in South Kensington on this day in 1882, and of course spent a lot of time writing in her own room in Bloomsbury, and later in her own shed in Sussex, but there were other residences that give us some insight into 20th century England --
the wikipedia article is actually organized by location of her residences:

and I bet she's included in a lot of walking tours.

A building was named for her at her alma mater King's College in 2013, and there are other busts and monuments you might come upon not only in England but around the world.

Thanks for this nice connection between a birthday commemoration and tourism opportunities!
