Has anyone walked along the Haltwhistle Burn recently? I'm just trying to get a mileage count to figure out how long it will take us old timers. ;-) Have you walked from Haltwhistle or toward's Haltwhistle from Cawfields.

about 2 miles from the Hadrian's Wal path at Cawfields down to Haltwhistle. The road, Shield Hill, is a bit up and down but quiet. I think I've walked along the burn though can't remember anything about it.
