There will be 10 of us travelling through the Lake District this September. We are walking the Cumbria Way and will finish our walk in Carlisle on Sunday, September 10, 2023. I am trying to arrange a tour of Hadrian's Wall for our group on Monday, September 11. Is anyone familiar with a tour company that provides day trips from Carlisle to Hadrian's Wall.

Well I am certainly familiar with an excellent local guide, Peter Carney. He is a retired history teacher and specializes in this area and this subject. We found that learned an incredible amount from him the day that we spent with him. I'm posting his contact information below. I think you would want to email him and see what he could set up. It would probably involve hiring a van/driver as well, but he might be able to set all that up for you. There is a "contact us" button on this website. I'd use it and find out what he could do for you.
