Because I have purchased a ticket from London Paddington to Kemble and Oxford to London Paddington, I received a notice from GWR about an interruption of service as the line near Abingdon is out of commission until (they predict) June 10. Just passing this on for others who may be heading to or from Cotswolds/Oxford, plan for extra time- possibly on a bus.
Thanks for the reminder. Several regulars like isn31c posted about this a couple weeks ago.

Your ticket from London to Paddington will be valid on the alternative rail route to London Marylebone, if you prefer not to use the rail replacement bus between Oxford and Didcot.
Your outward route to Kemble is not affected, as that is not on the line of route of the works.
Thank you for clarifying. It wasn’t clear in the message sent from GWR, and not being familiar with the stops along the line I was preparing for a long day of travel hoops to jump through. My apologies for starting a thread that apparently already exists.
