Impact:
Train services between London Paddington and Swansea via Bristol Parkway and Cardiff Central will be cancelled.
Train services between London Paddington and Cheltenham Spa via Swindon and Gloucester will be cancelled or suspended between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa. Kemble, Stroud and Stonehouse will not be served.
Train services between London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads may be cancelled, delayed or diverted.
Train services between Swindon and Westbury via Melksham may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Passengers wishing to travel towards Bristol stations/South Wales/Gloucester/Cheltenham are advised to travel to Reading and await the services towards Bristol Temple Meads and then change there for services to Bristol Parkway and South Wales or Gloucester.
Replacement road transport services are conveying passengers between Bath Spa and Swindon via Chippenham in both directions until further notice. Arrangements have been made for Great Western Railway rail tickets to be accepted for these journeys. Very limited road transport is operating. Unfortunately road conditions due to the heavy rain is also affecting coach operators due to flooding and road closures
