Great Western has some fabulous fares but the deal ends Jan 9. I just stumbled upon it and it worked for the time I will be in London and heading out from there. Grab it!

They did the same this time last year.
I managed to get a Truro to Exeter journey in first class for about £5- just the lounge at Truro, before I even boarded, was worth that £5 and more, let alone the lounge host showing me to my seat on the train when it arrived, plus the journey in far superior seats, and a quieter more spacious environment.
And another £5 on a Plymouth to Penzance journey.
PS- I'd 'double dipped' as there are the usual railcard discounts off these half price advance fares.
