Would love any recommendations for where to book dinners for a family of 4, staying in Mousehole end August/early September. We love all types of foods, just looking for excellent meals, great service, fun atmosphere...whatever you thought was special and worth a visit. Thanks!

In St Ives, which I assume you will go to (?), I can recommend both the Porthminster Beach Cafe and Porthgwidden Cafe - both right on the beach and owned by the same group, along with the Porthminster Kitchen which I haven't been to.

There are a lot of nice places in nearby Penzance, which is much bigger- one we went back to twice because we liked it so much was the Old Lifeboat House: https://www.oldlifeboathouse.co.uk/

Argoe in Newlyn is the best restaurant in Cornwall IMHO, followed by Mackerel Sky also in Newlyn.
