Gratitude for ..............

..........the celebration of life, death and history as provided by the people of the UK and Ireland during the past two weeks. On several occasions I have wondered about the appropriateness of placing this post on the forum with my heart winning out to provide praise for all people involved in this huge undertaking.
I am sorry for your loss of a wonderful lady.
Grateful for witnessing the living of history as you said farewell.
Thank you!

I agree! I am very grateful to have been able to watch the moving and historic funeral of Queen Elizabeth. The Brits do it SO well!❤

I was mesmerized by the celebrations of this amazing woman’s life and accomplishments. I know she was a large part of the reason I love visiting the United Kingdom and majored in English literature and history in college. She will be missed and at least for a short time this week and last, we were all her people.

Operation London Bridge has been on the books for decades. Rehearsals as well. As the Queen’s health declined more rehearsals.

Precision, pomp and circumstance. Tradition and respect. She deserved it. Rest in Peace ER.
