Google obviously comes back with many results, many of whom claim they’re the official ticket sellers or source of info. Is there one good central site for show information and details that isn’t a reseller? Or one especially reliable? Trying to figure out what will be on during our visit and how best to get tickets. Thank you!
The theatremonkey website will list info about various ticket sellers including identifying the agent for the official box office. I nearly always buy from the official box office. However, if the agent is a member of STAR, they are a legitimate reseller.

After you select a show, click on the venue name, and you will see a section called ”Buying Tickets Online” which has the official agent website info.
Theatremonkey has other useful info such as seating plans, etc.
If you are not picky about what show you want to see I still think the https://officiallondontheatre.com/tkts/ has the best values.
I've seen fabulous productions of The Producers, Evita and My Fair Lady for last minutes prices.
If I don’t know the names of all shows playing, if I’m just trying to learn all my options where can I go for loads of info? I am less concerned with scoring cheap seats just now, really just trying to learn what shows are coming and/or will be on.
Click on West End Musicals. Then click on dates.

Thank you Claudia those are giving more info/details to help narrow down what I might be interested in. So many websites out there!
If you’ve not seen Hamilton you should consider seeing it there. Beautiful theatre, the Victoria Palace.
Easy public transport to and from Victoria Station.

The above shares who you might be able to see depending on your dates and show you choose.
Over the decades I’ve been able to see Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Mark Rylance, Rupert Graves, Clive Rowe and Charles Dance.
Have fun choosing. Have never been disappointed seeing theatre in London.
Do beware most theatres do not have elevators so if, like me, you enjoy sitting in the first balcony there will be stairs to climb.
I used the link that Heather provided in an earlier response when I was in London in June. Worked like a charm. Also agree that checking at theatremonkey.com is a great idea to help you find comfortable seats.
