Hello. My husband and I have tickets for Grace Pervades at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. I am seeking recommendations for a pub with good food or a restaurant near the theatre. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

We too are going to see Grace Pervades when we visit London in May. For a pre-dinner meal, we've booked at Bancone Italian restaurant. I went there myself last year and had the best pasta dish of my entire life (and I've been to Italy several times). Advance reservations a must.

I love Bancone! That is a very good option.
Some others nearby that we've enjoyed are Jumak 39 (Korean) and Toba (Indonesian). For something a bit casual you also have Oshpaz (Central Asian) and Shoryu (Ramen) on Regent Street St James.

If you lean towards a pub, you have a lot of them in the area to choose from. For me, I would recommend Sherlock Holmes, which is on the opposite side of Trafalgar Square. Great old time pub with ambience and food that is higher quality compared to many pubs.
