going to Canterbury via the tube and st Pancras

Hello,

My wife and I are going to Canterbury for a day-- we are at Stand Palace hotel, then the Covent garden tube to St Pancras station-- is there an underground link from the tube to the station? I dn't see one, at least for the moment..
You don't have to get out of the tube station and walk to St Pancras above ground?
thanks

You will get on the Picadilly line at the Covent garden station to get to Kings Cross / St. Pancras station on the tube. You will then have to take the escalator up to get to the train station. Just follow the signs.

The scale of the tunnels underneath Kings Cross and St Pancras stations are immense! They stretch from the Euston down the Pentonville Road some 200 yards from Kings Cross proper (where the old Thameslink trains from Bedford to Brighton would stop ...those platforms A and B are now under St Pancras). It’s like a small town under there!

As you come up, you will come up escalators like these.

And you will be following signs as easy to understand as these...because these are the signs you’ll be following.

You’ve got this!!

You can get to Canterbury from Charing Cross just down The Strand. Although this is on a heritage route considering it is on your doorstep and doesn't involve the tube etc it may not actually be so much slower door to door. And it is cheaper.
