Gluten-Free Afternoon Tea in Bath, Moreton-in-Marsh, Oxford, and London

My husband and I will be travelling to England at the beginning of July and we are interested in finding restaurants or cafes that serve gluten-free afternoon tea and/or other gluten-free food. We are staying in Bath, Moreton-in-Marsh (where we have found one gf tea room), Oxford, and London. We would appreciate any advice. Thank you in advance.

Thanks, Emma. I have done a lot of searching and you are very correct. Google is a great way to search and there are a lot of options. In some cases, I have found blog posts about gluten free afternoon tea, at The Pump Room in Bath, for example, but the post was form 2014 and when looking at the current menu for The Pump Room, I do not see any gluten-free offerings. I was hoping someone who may have travelled there recently may have experience to share.

we traveled through those areas, this time last year. while you still need to keep an eye out and ask ( which you would no doubt be use to, being gluten free) but we were pleasantly surprised how many places offer gluten free. we even found pubs selling gluten free fish and chips etc, while in the UK.
near the jane austen museum we even had gluten free scones at a nice little cafe. YUM.

hope you have a great time.

Thank you Glenn and Lorraine - you have given me some reason for optimism :) I will definitely look out for the tearoom near the Jane Austen museum. And gf fish and chips would be amazing! Thanks again.

This isn't related to afternoon tea, but FYI- in case you go to Borough Market in London, this company does wonderful gluten free baked goods. I particularly loved their brownies and lavender shortbread.

As someone who was recently diagnosed with food allergies (recently as in since my last trip to Europe in Oct 2015!!), I'm very pleased to see there are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options available in so many places.
