giffgaff plan choices

I recently purchased a giffgaff sim care on someone's recommendation which appeared in an earlier post. I am not very tech savvy and hence can not make sense of all the plans offered. Their website is no help, as it has all pat answers to questions and does not address my particular dilemma

I will be visiting London for 18 days in early Sept. I would like to use my i-phone for general directions and other tourist related activities.Can anyone offer guidance as to which plan would best serve my needs? Many thanks in advance.

All you need to do is chose a GoodyBag from their website. Once you’ve paid for it, that ‘credit’ will be on the card you have bought already. If you’re just using the data for maps and booking tickets etc, you probably only need a 1Gb or 3Gb GoodyBag. If you download and watch films, then you’ll need more. And if you run out of data, you can always add more credit to your card. Have fun!

A goodybag is for a fixed amount of data with unlimited texts and UK calls. It expires after a month; unused data, texts or calls do not roll over to the next month. I would think 1GB would suffice.

If you want to make an international call back to the US you'd need to add pay-as-you-go credit.
