Getting to Oxford from London on May 13 after 17:30

Weeks ago I bought tickets on GWR Paddington to Oxford for early evening May 13. Later I learned about the replacement buses from Didcot, then the strike. We are arriving St Pancras on the Eurostar at 17:30. Am I correct that the last train to Oxford (Didcot) leaves Paddington at 17:32, and at 17:40 from Marylebone? Any suggestions how best to get to Oxford? Maybe the OxfordTube? Unfortunately I can’t get to London any earlier. Thank you in advance for any help!

Yes, the Oxford Tube is your answer. It runs 24/7. From Victoria. You will get a refund on your train tix in due course. Apply to wherever you bought them from.

Thank you isn31c. I’ve applied for a refund - easier than I thought. And in an earlier post you told me to take the Victoria line to Victoria Stn and then walk to the stop, on the road, between Victoria Rail and Coach stations, and that there would be a bus there - I think at this time of day, 18:00, they should be every 10-15 minutes.
Thank you so much for your guidance these past couple weeks. We are traveling today from Normandy to Paris, then to London. It was daunting to manage this transfer to Oxford, with the replacement buses and then the strike, and your guidance has been so helpful - and comforting!

It is officially known as the Green Line Coach Station stop 10 although this is a grand name for what it is.

It does seem that the service may have been augmented a little but the demand may be high.
