We will be leaving London this Saturday from the Paddington station area. Will we be able to take the underground or will we need another mode of transport?
We have a 3:10 afternoon flight June 3. Any recommendations for how to get to Heathrow appreciated!!

The Elizabeth Line is working fine- not affected by the strikes, but expect it to be busy because there is no HEX (on strike) and no Piccadilly Line due to engineering work between Hyde Park Corner and Acton Town.
You could go the 'wrong way' (into London) to Victoria and get a frequent NatEx coach, if you think the busyness may impact the quality of your train journey. At least on the coach you have a seat and your luggage is stowed under the bus. Including the tube fare to Victoria that is no more expensive, maybe cheaper, than the Elizabeth Line.
Or else, depending on budget, look at uber/private car/taxi for an optimal experience.
