My friend and I are going to London, coming from different places in the U.S.
She is arriving in terminal 3 and I am arriving in terminal 5.
Everything I read has to do if you are transferring planes, but what if we want to meet each other at the airport before we head into London?
Thank you in advance for any help you can give us of how to connect in the airport.

There is free transfer between the terminals using either the Piccadilly line ( Tube), the Elizabeth Line , or the Heathrow Express. See the information on this page:

Decide in advance who is going to be the one to transfer terminals, and plan on a designated meeting place, using the guide Joe provided.
Or do what my sister did when we met up in T5: have the one who arrives first stand by the exit from baggage claim holding up a sign with the other’s name on it, like a private chauffeur meeting a client. Always good for a laugh.
