Getting from London City airport to Dedham by train/bus

I may have asked something related to this question before, but coming up this week is our trip from LCY to Dedham.
Can anyone tell me the best way to get there arriving at 3.30 pm at LCY?
Many thanks!

DLR to Stratford then train to Manningtree (https://www.greateranglia.co.uk/media/14278/download?inline) , then taxi.

If you happen to get to Colchester by 1740, there is a bus #81A at 1748, arrive 1819.

There are also #81A buses from Manningtree Station at 1715 and 1920.

The bus is run by Konect buses- https://passenger-line-assets.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/hedinghamandchambers/HEDO/81-timetable-20240728-8ddec78a.pdf

An anytime day single from Stratford to Manningtree is £37.40.

Note in the timetable that some trains divide at Colchester - where that happens ensure you are in the rear 5 car section.

All the services are scheduled to use Platform 10 at Stratford.

There is a taxi rank at Manningtree Station or, once on the train call -

Thank you Stuart! We made it to Dedham in good time and the info you provided was very helpful. We were a bit confused because the sign board did not mention Manningtree at all and when asked the station worker thought that the train did not go to Manningtree, but we got on anyway and they did announce that the train would be split up and one part of the train would go to Manningtree. This was our most challenging day of travel logistics, and it was a long day but all went well! Dedham is beautiful. We did the Flatford Mill walk today and saw great countryside views, some of which Constable had painted!
