What is the best way to get from Heathrow to Windsor? We will be arriving early in the morning at Heathrow and will spend the night in Windsor.

The 703 bus seven days a week between 0400 and 2330 from Terminal 5, or 0312 to 2245 from Windsor to T5- half hourly almost all day- the normal £3 bus fare.

If you don‘t like to go by bus or uber.
Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station. Move there to the Train GWR to Slough and Slough move to train to Windsor.
Windsor has a very nice train station. I liked it much.

If going by train the shorter route would be the Elizabeth line to Hayes and Harlington, change, Elizabeth line to Slough, change.
The fare on contactless is £11.40 off peak, £16.20 peak, due to the Heathrow premium.
That is shown by the fact that from Hayes and Harlington it is £4.10/£6.90.
