Returned on 7/1/26: This worked out well for me: After enjoying Bath for a full day I took a taxi from Henrietta House hotel (held my bags for me all day) to the Bath Spa Rail Station (walkable but my dogs were tired!). Took the GWR train to Bristol Temple Meads - about every 20 minutes and 13 minute duration. Walked through the large train station to the outside bus stop area. Took the A1 Airport Flyer to the Bristol Airport - about every 8 minutes and 32 minutes duration. Got off right at the airport - M&S food for take out was right there along with other options. I stayed over at the Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport Hotel (short walk with good signage - very nice hotel with AC! Breakfast was OK) and flew out the next morning. Flew to DUB Dublin, did the preclearance for customs so when I got back to BOS Boston all I had to do is get my bag off the carousel and catch my Boston Express bus back home. People were very helpful in sending me in the right direction everywhere I went. Enjoy! P.S: Aer Lingus was significantly less expensive than British Airways but there was a layover in both directions.
