We are going to be staying in Moreton-in-Marsh for three days in March. I waited too long to book a tour and the tour we wanted is completely booked for the days we are there. Buses are infrequent and taxis are expensive. My question is: Is there Uber or Uber-like services in the area or there any possibilities to hire locals for some pick up and drop off services?

Did you try…..gocotswolds.co.uk, they have plenty of openings they would pick you up in Moreton-in-Marsh. Actually you would be surprised that the taxis aren’t that expensive. My sister-in-law didn’t want to rent a car, so we took a day tour with Go Cotswolds, then the next day we took a taxi to another village we wanted to visit. I usually have a car, but it worked out fabulously.

There isn’t Uber, no.
Unfortunately, public transport in the Cotswolds is very poor. I think somebody on here hired a driver in the area but I would expect it to be very expensive.
