Anyone been to the Geffrye? I'm wondering roughly how long a visit might take. There are only 11 rooms, so it seems it could take as little as 30 minutes. But who knows: maybe it takes more like 90 minutes. Any insight appreciated.

While there are 11 rooms to view, each display has information about the furnishings, texties, room usage, etc., and if you go on Wednesday(I think) you can tour the almshouse and that can take a while. I think two hours minimum for a visit. 30 minutes would be a waste, especially considering the time it takes to get to the Museum.

Thanks, Miranda. I know: with the time it'll take to get there, I was definitely hoping it would be more than a 30-minute deal. The almshouse won't be open when I'm there, unfortunately. But I've got an idea of how long a walkthrough should take now, so I know how much I can plan afterward.
