HI-
I am trying to figure out if I can reasonably travel on the train from Gatwick to our hotel near Hyde Park after we arrive about 20:00.
I am traveling with 2 kids from Seville and not sure how long everything will take through immigration.
Does anyone recommend a car service?

I would take the southern trains from Gatwick to Victoria station. Then bus, tube or taxi to your hotel.

The Beaumont Hotel is in Mayfair near the former American Embassy, above Grosvenor Square, nearer to that than Hyde Park.
Nothing will get you into central London faster than the train - a straight shot with one stop or zero stops right into Victoria Station. Cab out front for the last mile or so. Very fast.
