gatwick to tower hotel

I just did this a couple of weeks ago. Easy trip. The stations at both Gatwick and London Bridge have escalators. My hotel was very close to the London Bridge rail station so I walked over.

The line for the ticket machines at Gatwick can get very long. If you happen to have an Oyster card with £10 still on it you can use that at the ticket barrier. I think it will also accept contactless credit cards and perhaps mobile payments like Apple Pay.
