Gatwick to the Chelsea Flower Show

Good morning. Hoping someone can help confirm that the most efficient (time and money wise) way to get from Gatwick to the Chelsea Flower Show around 8 am tomorrow (Friday).

LGW Express to Victoria then the 44 Bus, yes?

Please also remind me of the best way to purchase these tickets.

Thank you.

Sounds right.

Usually a Southern train is less expensive than Gatwick Express but the price is the same tomorrow.

You can buy the ticket online and save a few pounds or at a ticket machine near the station

For the bus, there are no tickets. You just use a contactless form of payment as you enter.

Alternatively, get the tube from Victoria to Sloane Square and walk 5 to 10 minutes from there. Just follow the crowds

You may be lucky to get tickets this late

For the Gatwick to Victoria leg, using a Southern train if you pay by Oyster or contactless you will pay ยฃ19.20 peak as opposed to ยฃ21.30 bought on line or at the station.
Gatwick Express costs ยฃ24.10 as a ticket or ยฃ24 paying by oyster or Contactless

As Bill says, make sure you can get tickets before you travel. They usually sell out, even at ยฃ137 each.

Eat a hearty breakfast, it's so crowded that it is hard to get food inside the flower show.

Emily, that's wonderful that you are going! It's been my dream to go to the Chelsea Flower Show ever since my first trip to London. I would love to read about your day there!
