Good Day, Travelers! We have an upcoming October flight that arrives London Gatwick @ 9:45PM from Catania Sicily. Our return flight to the US departs Heathrow the next day around Noon via American Airlines, Term. 3.
We are considering the National Express bus service between airports as it seems to be the most reliable.
The one drawback I'm told is NE does not stop at your hotel. It drops you at the terminals and then you catch a hop a bus to your hotel (picks up every 30-45 mins).
Given our arrival to Heathrow will be in the early AM I am asking for experiences with limo/cab/shuttle services that will drop off at the hotel. I realize we will pay a hefty premium, but want to consider the alternatives.

Thanks, Southam for your reply. I see the car services section and I'll check them out. The Hoppa buses stop running at Midnight so that eliminates National Express.

What hotel? Are you staying overnight near Gatwick or Heathrow?

We plan on staying at the Doubletree Hilton Heathrow on Bath Rd. If you have other hotel recommendations that are in proximity to Terminal 3 I would welcome your input. Thanks.
