Further Overtime Bans by ASLEF

Today ASLEF has announced an additional week of an overtime ban from 17 to 22 July- the 20 and 22 July will also coincide with the first two RMT strike days.

On the Monday to Wednesday 17 to 19 July the effects will probably be similar to this week. Thursday to Saturday 20 to 22 July may be more interesting.

15 rail companies to be affected- details to follow from each in due course, but expect no Gatwick Express (use Southern and Thameslink instead, themselves on reduced timetables) and no sleeper service to Cornwall.

... and yet more Overtime Bans from Monday July 31 until Saturday August 5 followed by another week-long overtime ban from Monday 7 to Saturday 12 August.

Chiltern Railways
Gatwick Express
Greater Anglia (including Stansted Express)
Great Western Railway
Great Northern
Southern
South Western Railway (including Island Line)
Thameslink
TransPennine Express

These companies expect to run a full timetable but some trains may be cancelled at short notice.

Avanti West Coast
CrossCountry
East Midlands Railway
LNER
London Northwestern Railway
Northern
Southeastern
West Midlands Railway

These companies are unaffected- c2c, Caledonian Sleeper, Grand Central, Elizabeth line, Heathrow Express, Hull Trains, London Overground, Lumo, Merseyrail, ScotRail and Transport for Wales

It is not practicable to list on this forum individual services affected. Please check with your train company 3 to 4 days ahead of travel, and again on the day.

@ isn31c will the London Tube be impacted/participating in the strike /overtime bans that week of Aug 5 -12?

No, these bans only affect main line trains.

At the time of writing industrial action on the tube is suspended, not over, but suspended.
