Hahaha Darcy and Andi! Well, that would require a trip TO Paris, so come on, let's go!

Sandi - have fun in London and let us know if you taste any of these!

Well Pam, you know you have 2 opportunities to meet me in Paris this year--I'm waaaaaiting!

And I can be packed in a matter of minutes! I keep everything ready to go on a moments notice! (I do need 45 minutes to get to DIA). And I will be in Paris with those teenaged Grandgirls of mine in July.......you could meet me? I am sure they will be um...busy finding other things to do rather than hanging with Gma during our free time!

Sorry Andi...even for the opportunity to meet up with you I'd not go to Paris in July!

Darcy - I think if we won the big lottery and were able to buy that apartment with a balcony we would work out being there at the same time, hahaha!!

I'd love to do a food trail for Paris but sadly it would probably involve my 2 favorite vegan foods in Paris - falafel and Amorino sorbetto, hahaha! That winter visit will have to be to discover wintry favorites!

Pam, I love both those things so that's ok with me. And I wouldn't go to Paris in July either. This is the only time the girls have free before college starts in August! I will survive!!

Pam, thank you for the link. The food maps are great!
Especially interested in the vegan donuts.
All the deliciousness without the unhealthy ingredients and the guilt!
(I guess there's sugar involved, so a little bit of guilt.)

I was disappointed to follow the crumbs on that map to the Bratwurst at Marble Arch and find out that it is actually for Winter Wonderland which is only seasonal.

I was so disappointed with Herman Ze German in Soho I'd hoped for something much better, and was quite excited until my hopes were dashed.... oh well...

hey pam
thanks for this map, it's fun and interesting, sending to my niece who is studying abroad near london.
being from hawaii, was very curious about lava christmas burger. do they use lava rocks to heat the grill, stack with pineapple or mango, use kalua (roasted) pig as the burger, portuguese sweet bread for bun? none of the above. sags(sage?), sausage and onions, cranberry sauce and camembert. the decor of restaurant is "hawaiian" and of course "Magnum PI" but no Steve McGarrett or Book 'em Dano!
Mahalo for a great laugh which made my day.
