Has anyone used a local driver from Heathrow to a London hotel? I have used the Welcome Pickups ride service very successfully, however if there is a local person who does airport pickups that is preferred.

We usually use a driver recommended by our hotel when we have flown into Rome, Zurich, Lisbon or Paris. In London, our hotels have always recommended and we take the Heathrow Express and then the Tube to our hotel. I’m sure others on here can tell you why and/or give you all kinds of suggestions.

While no individual drivers have been recommended, to my knowledge, on this forum, Blackberry Cars and Just Airports are two companies that seem to be popular.
The price will depend on the location of your hotel.
There are numerous public transport options into London. Which one to take depends on the location of your hotel.
