Has anyone been on one of the many Free Tours of London before? They are walking tours and they have great reviews on Tripadvisor. My two 20something daughters want to go on a Harry Potter tour. it sounds fun and you pay a "tip" at the end of the tour. Our time is limited so I don't want to waste time on something that isn't a fun and good tour!

Seems very off. As you pay a "tip", I wouldn't describe them as free.
Would be interested to read what other posters experience is of these tours - I seem to remember reading about some issues with the trip advisor reviews of these "free" tours.

Try the London Walks website, they offer Harry Potter tours. They are not free but you don't have to ' tip'

And London Walks are extremely well respected, with many people who take their walks returning over and over again. They know their stuff.
