Free spots to watch fireworks in London New Year's Eve.

We missed out on reserving tickets for the New Year's fireworks in London. Any recommendations on other good viewing spots?

Along the River across from the London Eye. I was there for the Millennium and it was really packed, but WOW what a show.
I took the tube from my hotel and it was easy.

More tickets were released, did you check recently?

I might go up to Primrose Hill this year if the weather is good.

Some suggestions.
Cannon Street. In the midst of St Paul's Cathedral, Mansion House and Bank, it's just outside of the ticketed area but still a great riverside location.
Tower Bridge, Southwark Bridge and Millennium Bridge, all of which will be crowded, so stake your place out early.
The riverfront in front of The Tower of London. Drape yourself over the rail, or hold on to the rail, in case you're a little unsteady on your feet by that time! Likewise, stake your place out early.

Parliament Hill or Primrose Hill are usually suggested. However from in front of the TV or not at all are the most common places.

I'd also suggest Primrose Hill but the last time I was in London on New Years we watched it on YouTube (a recording from the previous year, the kids couldn't make it to midnight!)
