After a lot of looking at and researching lodging in London, we decided we wanted to stay in the Covent Garden area, and thought we decided on the Henrietta Experimental Hotel. But the travel agent who is helping us told me she has seen numerous negative reviews. But when I read reviews from various sites, it seems most of the negative reviews stem from staying in the annex, and having to check in in a different area because of that. Also the views from there are not as good. But we would request a room that is definitely in the main building. The Covent Garden Superior room is one we liked, and they are in the main building.
So, my question is....what is your honest opinion of the hotel and would you recommend staying there? THANKS!!
What is your budget and why did you choose that neighborhood of London?
Been visiting and staying in London for decades. Always choose a different neighborhood depending on what I want to see.
Might I suggest you consider the Z Hotel Covent Garden.
Hi, LInda, I don't know which sites you've looked for reviews, but I did a quick search on TripAdvisor and Booking.com. Both reviews, for the most part, were excellent for the hotel you are thinking of. TripAdvisor reviews were very high, and Booking.com rated it as 9.0, which is extremely high. And with Booking.com, no one can leave a review unless you've actually stayed there, so the reviews are automatically verified.
There are links to both of them, so you may want to check them out.

I looked at reviews from both those sites, plus others. The positive reviews were one of the reasons we ultimately decided on that hotel. But then when the travel agent mentioned the negative ones, I just wanted to double check.
"Might I suggest you consider the Z Hotel Covent Garden."
I just looked at that. Very small, rooms, except the Junior Suite. That's pretty pricey, though breakfast is included. I will add it to the list, thank you.
